OWL PINCUSHION GIVEAWAY

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED!

To celebrate my owl pincushion being featured in the current issue of Fons and Porter's Love of Quilting magazine, I'm hosting a special giveaway. The prize will be one of my handmade owls, Allie. She is dressed in a hand-dyed wool coat of some of my favorite hues—robin's egg blue, pink, and brown. Allie is the same size as my original owl, Oliver, who was featured in the magazine. She measures approximately 8 inches tall (to the tips of her ears) and 5 inches wide. Her eyes are a mix of white vintage mother-of-pearl white buttons and new pink buttons. The giveaway will run through midnight (CST) Wednesday, November 24.


Allie's multi-colored pocket of wool "pennies" is designed to hold a pair of embroidery scissors or other sewing accessories.


Here's how to enter:
1. Leave a comment telling me your favorite three-color combination. If you enter anonymously, please include at least your first name so I have a way of identifying you if you win. 
2. If you're a follower, you will receive two entries as a token of my appreciation for your support. Just make a note of that in your comment so I know that you are a follower. And if you're not already a follower, feel free to become one!
3. If you post about this giveaway on your blog, you will receive an additional entry. So if you are a follower and blog about this giveaway, you will receive a total of three entries. Just specify that with your comment so I know to give you an additional entry. And feel free to take the photo of Allie to use on your blog!

I will choose the winner from a random drawing and announce the recipient of Allie on November 26, the day after Thanksgiving. Good luck to all!

    I have that magazine and marked it as a want-to-try! How funny is that! I have never worked in wool but thought it would be a fun project to try.

    I like muted shades of any color... one is sage, purple, and cream, for example. (Loved the Decadent Victorian collection from a few years ago.)

  66. Gosh, I'm sure I've never really thought about a 3 color combo, I usually am thinking of just two. I guess I would say green, orange and brown. Or orange, yellow and white. But I also like black and white with a splash of red. You know what? I just like colors.
